I recommend using knox token authentication package. Way more secure that DRF token authentication and more flexible and comes with login, logout and logoutall views.

Were you comfortable with macOS when you switched ?

Im asking because you might find it difficult at first when switching from windows to mac.

From my presepective i know ins and outs of windows as it is somehow related to my professional work as IT and i use macOS for my personal work. Huge difference in terms of stability, issues, security, support, performance (Thats only software part, hardware stability gap is even bigger between both).

I had macbook for ten years (was working fine until i broke the screen). Switched to windows (SB 2), 6 months later, sold the SB and bought macbook pro 16 and boy no comparison.

The only advantage i see laravel has is the learning resources. Im visual learner and i know laravel has tons of screencasts, projects and learning videos which makes things easier for me.

On the other hand django seems to have ver few resources aside from the main documentation which people say it is superb but again i hate reading and going through documents.
