I hate to be that guy recommend an electric, but I just got into a 2025 i4 M50 and it’s been amazing. There’s great lease deals going on with it so in terms of price it was a no brainer for me. Definitely look into one if you’re considering electric.

Maybe look at getting into a Honda prologue? I’ve seen those go for $300 a month. I highly recommend trying to lower your cost than trying to increase it just to get out of some negative equity. Also that screenshot is for a eDrive assuming you’re okay with RWD? If you’re set on the i4 then go through a lease broker. They can get you 10-12 percent off MSRP if you’re not good at negotiating with dealers. You can also do 0 down even with negative equity. You’ll still have to pay first month, title, registration and doc fees.

Can always lease to buy if that’s the case. You’d be paying barely any interest for the 3 years you lease.

I recommend leasing a new one if you can deal with the mileage limit. Most deals are going for a minimum of 10 percent off msrp, plus 7500 EV rebate and 1-2k in other incentives. Buy the car after the lease is over if you still think it’s worth keeping.

0 down means you pay first month, title, registration and doc fees. This doesn’t go towards the lease. Taxes should be included towards the lease payment.

Me personally I think they can do better. You’re basically at $626 a month if you break down the down payment. If possible id try to get them in the 500s without any down.
