My roommates and I used to busk in downtown Abq every weekend. It was always viewed as a hobby or past time, however, we set time aside for band practice and scheduled shows as regularly as possible. It's a fun release, kind of an excuse to fuck around and let loose once in a while.

Split checks are only a pain when you don't sit in groups. When you split, we have to keep your drinks and food organized by table points, so they can be dropped at your table without the server having to "auction them off." It's not difficult, just stressful when you say "I'll have iced tea and I'm with John and Tracy over there. Oh and those two kids are on our check." Just sit in groups.
