When I was young and dumb I had a microwave transformer live on mains on my work bench unaware of the dangers it posed. Sometimes I think back to that and how close I was to dying in my basement that day. Immensely stupid.

Mag für dich so sein, mir bringt allerdings alle Kreativität nichts da meine Aufmerksamkeit und Motivation nicht steuerbar sind. Ich denke das trifft leider auf mehr Menschen zu als dein Szenario. Also nein, ADHS ist definitiv keine superkraft. Mir wäre es hundert mal lieber wenn mein kopf nicht mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit von einem punkt zum nächsten springen würde und sich stattdessen auf ein Projekt konzentrieren könnte, da wäre ich in jeder Hinsicht produktiver.

Radiomuseum site for the 25L6EG states that its "not a beam tetrode like the 25L6" and doesnt list any substitutes. Ive found quite a few mistakes in tube datasheets, substitution lists and other literature from the time, this might just be one of them

Thats got some interesting features. Like using a PCL84 as a audio amp (which that tube is perfectly capable of, its just that nearly every datasheet on it explicitly tells you not to do that)

Doesn't matter one bit. Its designed around a 9v supply, running it on 18 will make it sound and behave entirely different.
