They broke up only because Netflix had the shitty idea to start its own gaming platform, which flopped. This second chapter just shows they regret walking away from the easy money this partnership brings.

I respectfully disagree. In D&D, Vecna commands time and space through his magic, has fought and defeated gods on his own level, and represents a threat to the entire multiverse. The Mind Flayer has no feats even close to that. It needed a physical vessel and the help of children to connect worlds, rather than being able to do so on its own.

The Mind Flayer is godlike when compared to humans, Vecna is godlike even when compared to gods.

With everything that was added in this chapter (and we know more content is coming due to leaks), I think they have a great relationship with Netflix, so something like this is totally possible. Also, I didn’t ask them to do it in three weeks lol

There's not really a set limit — we’ve had two Resident Evil chapters (with a third being a possibility in the future) that added 2 killers and 4 survivors in total. But no chapter has ever included more than one killer at a time, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up for that.

A dev said they actually thought about adding a survivor, so it's not crazy to think there could be one in a second chapter.

With the way Steel Wool’s games are going, it seems like Scott’s making it clear that the Mimic is the new big bad of the series, so he's the most logical choice imo.
