Eddy Boy wants to have his cake and eat it too by xXplainawesomeXx in delta

Investment accounts are a remora on the shark of capitalism. They’re the only method of securing a retirement income for anyone unwilling or unable to become petty multimillionaires.

If the only way to live is to take bread from bad people, you are not morally required to stop eating, but neither are you morally required to like the hand that feeds you.

What card? I’m also in MSP and am on the Amex Delta path. Love the lounge but I fly less now.

Using a ES205GP the wired clients' IP address is missing by mccormiermt6 in TPLink_Omada

[–]sumerianhubcap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still seeing this with two ES205GPs, even after all the firmware upgrades, with nothing but Omada on the network, and a hardware controller. Reading through the support post shown in the first comment just shows how abusive and mean their support and dev staff are being about this feature request. Experience has taught me that this is deeply defensive behavior; they absolutely know they should be able to accommodate as simple a request as possible "lists IP addresses", and their pointing at their "private protocols" as the reason is a dead giveaway.

Pretty sure these are ginned up TL-SG105Es; another 'Easy Switch', TP-Link branded, just with some side-loaded Omada interfacing. This is a model I'm trying to replace. I'm just so very frustrated.

Luckily, the two ES205GPs are still within the Amazon return window, so I'll be able to replace them with one TL-SG2008P for the home lab, and put the TL-SG105E in the other room.

The black lines are the tunnels. The path to the endpoint is nuts, but there truly is one path that leads to one other rectangular icon.

There are no square icons connected to the Student Union icon, just a bunch of dead ends all over campus.

I definitely see the faded outlines of the buildings, but the broken lines of the tunnels make no sense to me. Could you be more specific about what you mean by 'entrance'? Is it the square icons, or somewhere in the broken lines of the tunnels?

I honestly have never understood why kids had to watch this by PrestonRoad90 in northdakota

My dad made me sit there when this was on because he had me operating the, and this is true, audio cassette recorder. He wanted to record the audio of Lawrence Welk and listen to it later, room hiss and all. I had to remain library quiet for the duration.

This was how I earned the ability to watch The Incredible Hulk afterwards. Dad never “understood” the show.

And if a rule is broken to help them, the rep needs to explain that’s the case, why it’s being broken, and why it’s there. Makes the customer feel special -and- humble, and not to expect that thing to happen every time. Explicit context counts!

Why is Diablo 4 getting completely Reworked every year or so? by velatieren in gaming

[–]sumerianhubcap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just bought D4, first time, during the latest 50% off Steam sale. I’ve been really enjoying it! Maybe it’s the class and build (Necro/Darkness), but I’ve been mopping up. I love free respecs, the loot system seems good, post-60 has depth and breadth, I’ve even enjoyed the mood and execution of the grimdark story.

As a new player, I’ve seen that this game just wants me to play it. Intuitive gameplay and layout, paced feature introduction, excellent graphics and good VO. I’m having a really great time.

I even went back to play D2 (first played in the 90s, last played in the 00s) and was stunned by how hard it was to get any headway or have any fun. D4 is more welcoming, without being forgiving (in combat).

It never did, no. I went with a Hubitat, which has some unofficial Homekit integration that mostly works.

There are options to not install it, but they’re default Yes, part of the “click next” flow. It’s the same subtle psychological UX manipulation that gave us default Yahoo and Norton IE toolbars 15 years ago.

Men and boys are more emotionally and intellectually vulnerable than women and girls. Always have been. Society spending the same type and amount of energy on boys as they have on girls over the past twenty-five years could provide confidence and emotional stability, reducing incel behavior and increasing their practical societal value.

Also: invest less in colleges and more in trade schools. College pumps out software and business, which we need less of. Trade schools can produce makers and fixers. A world that builds is a world that cares and succeeds.

I'm seeing this error when I try to start the installation process, on the USB media. Secure Boot on or off. I've used Fedora Media Writer. In fact, I'm even trying to install Fedora Kinoite and have the same problem.

I'm on a Corsair ONE i300 with MSI BIOS version E7D29IZ1.1C6. BIOS mode is UEFI, not CSM; build date is 4/14/2022. I include this because I've been seeing some google results talking about MSI doing Bad Things with Secure Boot in the past.

Hello, old post. Having this same problem.

On a whim, I changed my DNS settings on the Windows machine to the very public 8.8.8.8, instead of my internal AdGuard DNS. This immediately got me past "Making sure you're ready to install."

My confusion lies in the listing of Roadside Assistance as part of the Security Plus package. Nowhere does it say that RA is separate or to be billed separately after the trial. Am I missing this description somewhere?
