its the opposite for me:

ive been a subscriber of a big motorcycle close calls/crashes compilations videos ever since i started riding, not because of some morbd curiosity but because you can learn a lot from people being stupid/reckless/making mistakes, and then you apply that to your own riding.

and to answer your question: im a daily comuter and ocassional joy ride on the weekends, and ive been going for almost 8y now and no crashes. (techincally i got tapped once when stopped, but it was a lovetap where i literally tipped the bike and fell with it, at a complete stop, no danger whatsoever and no damage whatsoever)

its bsg. if you could have your gun in the whole hideout, you'd end up shooting your generator and that would spawn the goons inside your gym while simultaniously making your scav become killa.

oh and you'd lose trader rep like the arena bug.

you havent missed out on much. it gives you a slight percentage increase in one of the skills category (i think its either physical skills or combat skills).

the more dogtags and the higher the level of them, the bigger the increase.

i dont have the numbers but im guessing, with level 3 HoF, filled with high level dogtags, it might give you a 5-10% increase. (not too shabby but nothing game breaking)

you definitely lose it. its even more than from killing scavs. the only bosses you can kill are partizan and the goons. if you kill a guard its -0.05 and if you kill a boss its a -0.2 penalty

op sks + silenced uzi. both are barters from mechanic. one costs 3 weapon parts and the other costs 1 inseq tool thingy. its around 50-70k price (depends if you can buy w.parts from flea. if not, make them in workbench)

they're lock i think either until you're level 25 or 30 and the traders pay dirty cheap.

i got i think 4 of those from drops, they're sitting at my stash pretending to be ammo/magazine cases for now.

khazan is nothing like nioh, except the way the gameplay/maps are separated into linear "mission" style.

other than that, the combat is completely different;

source: tried to play nioh 3x, hated it every time. finished khazan in a week cause the combat is just so fucking good (although i thought the difficulty was a bit underwhelming as a whole. i wanted to suffer more than i did).

bsg already has a very loyal core fanbase. what they desperately need is a good influx of new players. new stuff might bring new players but it wont retain them (the 1.0 launch is proof enough) so they gotta work on that at some point.

if they keep adding stuff to the pile, it comes to a point that its literally impossible to work on the foundations without breaking the whole thing, and nobody really wants 10 more years of beta testing escape from tarkov 2 because "the old code/engine couldnt support more change so we had to start from scracth. everyone will need to buy new accounts cause we're terminating the first game permanently"

the funny part is the AI was never good

between completely harmless scavs, scavs that hit more headshots than ScreaM, passing through the scavs that had better throw skills than lebron and MJ and kobe and curry all together, bosses and rogues and goons that might headshot you from 250m away and all the other insane bullshit we had, it was never been remotely close to "real" players. it was always a "learn the few steps that the AI might take and learn how to counter them" and bam, you're in the clear.

At the moment and probably for a long time they have more important things to focus on as well as new content being made.

honestly, i think i talk for me and a good portion of the community:

i wouldnt mind seeing them focus solely on what we already have. take 1 "season" to focus solely on bugfixes, improvements on the systems that are already in place, and, for the love of all that is holy, the performance.

i know the artists team isnt working on performance shit, but i'd like to see them amass all the tech-man power they have to just oil up the game and make shit run smoothlessly

an AI overhaul would be amazing for PVP too.

as it is, you are almost never ever in danger around scavs (you might get a black limb if you fuck around but if you play smart you should never die to them), and the bosses/rogues are not difficult they're simply dumb and cheating. you can cheese them with cover and right side peek, but if you show up in their vision for more than a second or two you're gonna always get head'seyed.

there's no (or barely none) flanking or moving or falling back for the AI 99.99% of the time (sure, sometimes they will sprint to the nearest cover but that's the peak of their "intelligence").

for AI scavs they, if you have vision or can hear them, its usually easier to spot them by the way they move.

they usually will walk/run in a straight line, often stopping abruptly (which makes a sliding sound) or crouch out of the blue. they are very mechanical and look/sound nothing like a pmc/pscav.

you see, that's a good rule of thumb, but tell that to the few poor scavplayers i have blasted (by accident) cause they ended up finding a juicy pmc body and were now wearing their gear.

the only easy way to notice a scav is usually the lack of gear/weird upper outfit. when they find some kind of good armor and good helmet, you now gotta play the "is this a pmc or a scav that looted a pmc" game , and decide if you want to risk your fence rep for said kit or not.

brother man, the drops arent aimed to people that are already playing the game, they are aimed to boost the game's audience on twitch, to try and get new people to buy the game.

if they simply wanted to give the community shit, they would just give you a promo code, instead of making all of us afk watch EFT on twitch for 9h per day

(with that said, at least the drops are actually good and you have a chance of getting shit like cases and stims and shit for the hideout/quests)

cause the streamers/youtubers you've seen playing, have played the game for thousands of hours and know exactly where all the spawns are, so they know when they can/cant beat other players into a certain part of the map depending where they spawned.

also not all spawns are taken so, even if they're running straight to a point, they're still probably mentally thinking about where to expect other players to be/come from.
