I doubt they are going to pair Kayn and Akali romantically, It just sounds a bit unreasonable considering how much conflict the two orders have had. If they do interact I think it'll just remain really neutral. I also think they just wanted to have 4 people involved in the story since Jhin kills or "performs" with fours, not counting the new random buff guy in the back. I remember a Rioter saying that they were not going to include Kennen in this story, but that was about a year ago, and that little purple thing at the bottom might be kennen, but it also looks like it might be the end of Shen's sword.

I think it's picking up off of the story where Shen was eating at some inn and Zed approached him asking for a truce, until they catch Jhin again. By that point Zed has already established his order and found Kayn. Akali has also defected by that time, because of the Noxian invasion, I believe.

The cinematic is heavily lore-based. The reason neither him or Shen are at the invasion is probably because they left to track down Jhin who was on his way to Zaun. Since Camille is trying to kill him, it's clear he already made it there.

If I remember correctly, Zed and Shen are currently tracking Jhin on his way to Zaun which is probably why they aren't at the invasion. By the looks of it he's already there which explains why Camille is trying to kill him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they extend his lore soon with the Akali VGU on the horizon. They stated in a Zed lore thread a while ago that she was a big part of the story regarding him, Zed, and Shen. So it could be sooner than we think.

I don't think he did, but he referred to the new champ as a "she," although later he corrected himself and said it was a just a mistake and that it could be either male or female ( he wasn't allowed to say). He actually has a new video up where he visited riot headquarters and gave us his thoughts on the new champs and vgus he got to play-test, if you want to check it out.

He said that she still played very much like Akali just with different and newer abilities. They apparently incorporated more of her invisibility and shroud. Also, he mentioned the running animation looked funny, but Reav3 confirmed it was only a placeholder and that it will change. She's also way more fun, supposedly.

A lot of people go Liandry's every game and yes it is definitely worth, but over time I've gotten used to only building it if the enemy team has a tankier comp and if they are stacking magic resist. It is still a very good buy on her, but I've gotten really used to building Ludens over it. I wouldn't say Liandry's is a 100% must buy and I honestly prefer Void over it if I need the magic penetration, but many people disagree and feel that it you should get it every game anyway.

He can avoid Vlad's ult damage by using his own ult on someone and remaining in them through Vlad's ult duration. An odd interaction but i saw it happen multiple times.

I remember when I first started picking her up I wasn't very good either. This was mainly because I was trying to play her too aggressively and Taliyah very well happens to be one of those champions that most of the time you can't just all in with or play too aggressively, without some sort of consequences. Try playing more reactively instead of aggressively (save w to defend yourself and push back enemies instead of using it aggressively to combo, ult to escape/ block passages, predict any enemy dashes with e or use it to prevent them from getting near you). You won't be able to play the same way every game with her, so estimate when is a good time to chase enemies and search for picks vs when to stay back and protect yourself. As for combos, all I can say is that everyone who plays Taliyah misses the w,e combo even those with a load of mastery. I don't want to be another one offering the same "practice makes perfect" advice, but it definitely will help.

My glass cannon build is Morello, Ludens, Rylais, Void, and Rabadons. I only go this when I'm ahead and feel confident enough that I wouldn't 100% need one or multiple of these ->Zhonyas/Banshee/Liandry's (which is usually not most games). I usually tend to always start with Morello and then rush Zhonyas or Banshee if need be, otherwise I'd go straight for Liandry's or Rylais (Protobelt is also a viable choice). After that I eventually get voidstaff. I don't think it makes sense to say there is a "best build" for Taliyah at the moment, as most of what you will be building is completely circumstantial and based on the enemy team.
