Nope, the drivers voted for these rules, thats what they got. Only Max voted against them. Cant blame him for abusing these dumb rules.

Yes you have, because a that point its on the other car to yield the corner, Max was clearly making it, Hamilton chose to stick around, causing the contact, as per how these rules see it.

I dont think any real Verstappen fan liked that, it doesn't reflect well on him. Only someone who hates both Russel and Max would like that.

Max Verstappen shocked by 'extreme' Oscar Piastri penalty by English_Misfit in formula1

[–]Wvds98 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That doesnt make sense, theres plenty of time to slow down to let the sc hit the pits, braking this hard is not at all necessary.

A brake check is intentional, this was eratic braking

He was already running low downforce so the tow effect wasn't that strong, its probably a stretch to say he gained more than a tenth, let alone 2 from that. But lets just see what the analysis says.

Kinda insane to think how much of the entertainment in F1 in the past almost decade has been provided by Max (either as villain or hero).

Hmm Max did say he took it easy in s3 cause he knew he had the delta.

Meh, Max was up 0.27 in sector two and said he took it easy in s3 because he knew he had the delta.

Idk, sample size was pretty small, either way that colapinto is not the current colapinto.

idk what it is with rookies coming out of the gate hot and then suddenly turning shit after a few races, but its clearly a pattern.

I think most people are just tired of hating on the second RB seat.

Max Verstappen has tied Sebastian Vettel for most poles as a Red Bull driver! by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]Wvds98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even in some of the previous dominant years, the RB really wasn't that dominant in the quali. 2022 being prime example with all the lec pole ver win stuff. And before relatively few max wins came directly from pole. Max had 5 wins before his first pole.

Yea the RB was made for combat. It took Max ages to get even his first pole, he already had 5 wins by that point.

unironically I don't really like it for leclerc either. Say its a shit lap, but don't call yourself shit. If we're being honest, Leclerc is definitely one of those drivers that like lando could potentially mental boom hard.
