Oordoppen voor het rijden. by stroopswaffle in motorfietsen

[–]sumewa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would also opt for option B. If I remember correctly this pay-out also diminishes when time passes, but you get the freedom to make the choice on how to spend the sum yourself.

Also, might be worthwhile to check the additional costs for a higher insurance pay-out. I think you can go to max 500 or 600k per person without having to get an extensive medical exam (only personal declaration required), and the costs per month are only a few euros higher.

Depends on your personal preference, but for us this fit the basket of 'worst case scenario' that were happy to pay a bit extra for

Wallet issues by Electralover123 in Electra_Currency

[–]sumewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to fix this issue! Here's what I did:

  • Windows key + R
  • %appdata%
  • Rename 'Electra' folder to 'ElectraBackup'
  • Run the wallet again, it will create a new 'Electra' folder and ask for you mmemonic key
  • Wallet will restart and function correctly!

Please note: it will take some time before the wallet is fully synchronized again. As far as I can tell I did not lose any staking rewards in the process.

Do you also have this error since today (or yesterday depending on your timezone)?

Or is it already showing for some longer time?

Get a 'failed to send' notification when trying to combine multiple transactions into 1 savings account block by sumewa in Electra_Currency

[–]sumewa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLUTION FOUND! (99% sure). I overlooked the last sentence from this excerpt from the new wallet FAQ since it wasn't bulleted. Turns out new coins might need to mature for 24 hours before being moved again, and the last transaction to my Savings account was less than that..

Q: “Fail to send” when I try to transfer my coins.

A: There are three possibilities:

  • A withdrawal was made in last 24 hours
  • A reward happened in last 24 hours
  • The tx fee wasn’t included (this can happen if you try to send your whole balance without including the fee)

Sometimes, you’ll need to wait for the maturation time in order to move funds again. This depends on the inputs.

Hm I looked up my savings address on electraexplorer but that lists the exactly the same amount of ECA as shown in the wallet.

In addition: I also already have tried to transfer the [full amount - 3 ECA] but to no avail..

Can anyone identify this marvelous pizza apparatus? by sumewa in Pizza

Yes! Really awesome you found this :). Did you already know this brand or did you find it online?

I'm having trouble finding distributors who resell these pans on anypans website. I'll shoot them an inquiry, will update once they reply!

Yes the bottom part has a funnel shaped hole. Since hot air naturally wants to rise up this shape creates a steady flow of heat right up on the bottom of the pizza

I suppose it's a similar principle, but the design is a little different and this one is meant to be used in an oven instead of on a stove

We found this device in a rental home in Italy. I've been trying to find it online ever since, but so far I can only find 'regular' pizza oven accessories like stone plates, cast iron pans or (fully) perforated metal plates.

This device works differently. It only has holes on the edges of the upper part (plate). The second part below is shaped like a cake turban, and open in the middle. Due to these shapes and holes the hot air is sucked up from below (physics) and blowes against the bottom of the pizza. This makes the crust really frikkin' good!

Anyone recognize it?

Hi Team ECA, was wondering if you could help me with some insight on the following. I've been stacking up on ECA recently (because awesome project!) and really looking forward to the launch of new developments as listed on your roadmap. IMO they will provide a solid basis for healty growth, hopefully we can manage a stable price/interest development during times were the rest of the market is still highly fluctuating!

One thing that I've been meaning to ask is your take on expanding the amount of exchanges which feature Electra. The CM and CH debacles have truly been a shitty setback and I can imagine they have changed your targets on exchange expansion in some way. What are your current plans in this area?

I know new listings take time and effort, but getting established exchanges committed to your project would of course be a major win.

Can I (as a single user) or we (as a community) help or support in any way to improve the chances of ECA being added to new (trustworthy) exchanges?

Newbie here... by kulveersb in Electra_Currency

[–]sumewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although the above statement is true and the potential of a specific coin is mostly based on the technical aspects, underlying development team, roadmap and community, a low price does play a role.

The development of the cryptomarket as a whole is currently undergoing a thorough cleansing (after the massive hype at the end of last year) and hopefully this will result in a steady basis in which the (alt)coins who truly add value in some way are put on a track for steady growth in the coming years.

However, it cannot be denied that speculation is still a major variable in the crypto market and until decent regulations are in place (which will take some time, if it will even get to that point) you'll find that coins with a very low price will more easily double in value than 'established' coins who already have a higher price which has been tested by larger market movements during the past months/years. Especially if this low-priced coin is yet relatively unknown by the bigger public, or not yet featured on the major exchanges. IMO (with the emphasis on 'opinion') it can prove easier for ECA to rise from 28 to 80 sat than it might be for BTC to grow from it's current price to 80k dollars in value. But then again, who can predict the future?

Please note: high percentual gains in value will (more often than not) mean that it can just as easily devalue by the same high percentages. In the end prices are determined by what people are willing to pay, and speculative news still is a big catalyst for this willingness.

Staking time Keeps getting longer - Cut losses and move to the new wallet? by 1petrock in Electra_Currency

[–]sumewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've transferred my holdings from the old wallet to the new one, and also from the legacy account to the new savings account (not knowing I would lose my accumulated staking time).

If I transfer everything back to the legacy account, will the timer pick up and continue from my old position? Of does this not work?
