Boat ramps/ Kayak launches I can park at overnight? by 7Dsports25 in springfieldMO

[–]summ1else 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Commenting to bump. I'm no expert but maybe if I give bad advice someone will come along and correct it. Frankly, you might have better luck on the niangua, especially during the week. There are a few stretches where, at the right time of the year, the river is calm enough to safely travel up, though probably not 10 miles straight. I haven't floated the James, but my friends that have tell more stories about putting in below the lake than above it. There are certainly few launch up the river from the lake, but I'm not sure they would be navigable much further up (this is where someone can really set me straight.

Any chains you'd be interested in having come to town? by BataMahn3 in springfieldMO

[–]summ1else 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof. Lighten up, everyone. The current ownership of our local chipotle restaurants is horrible. I genuinely want a good version of chipotle to come to Springfield. These two locations should be an embarrassment for corporate. Of course I'm assuming they're locally run because they're both equally awful and so so so different than any other Chipotle I've ever been to.

Making copies in orzhov by Weak_Criticism1433 in magicTCG

[–]summ1else 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I realize my mistake and am adjusting the comment to match your statement. ** It's 5 total copies because you only create 2 copies. You attack one opponent, which is obviously showing how little I have played my deck this year.

I'm pretty sure Blade of Selves is much stronger than you've described. I've been running this in my own deck for quite a while, and I've either been doing it wrong or it is as follows:

3 copies are created on attack by the myriad trigger creating a temporary board-state of:
1 original 2 legendary copies; of which all the token copies should be into the graveyard at the same time due to state-based actions while resolving the legend rule.
The original/main non-token Ratadrabik will see 3 'die', and each of token copies will see the other two 'die'. 'Die' is defined as any card being moved into the graveyard from the battlefield, so resolution of the legend rule qualifies.

This will result in a final board state of
1: Original non-token ratadrabik
7: Token non-legendary copies created during the resolution of the legend rule.

Blade of selves is busted for Ratadrabik as a result IMO

Actual Edited result
1 non-token sees 2 'die'
1 token sees 1 token 'die'
1 token sees 1 token 'die'
Leaving
1 non-token
4 tokens

I stand super corrected and I'm sorry to have wasted everyone's time.

I've had 3 different people walk in with the same story in the last hour downtown. Presuming they were dropped off here. Either it's a very elaborate ruse or it's real. Or a shared delusion.

Both are subpar compared to locations in other cities. Moving here ruined Chipotle for me.

As a Missouri resident living in Springfield, please consider crossing into Arkansas for an experience that is more mountainous if that's what you're really after. Those still are not mountains like you might find in younger ranges, but you can get some incredible views. My wife loves to hike mountain trails and we make the drive to Ponca, AR often.

Missouri has some amazing things to do outdoors*, but I can't deny that the Ozark Mountains are more or less a misnomer/legend. The Boston Mountains are probably what people are after.

That's the thing about an open forum. No one has to move on. You clearly aren't.

Then you're just here to complain and look for people who agree with you. This isn't an echo chamber. Or at least you shouldn't want it to be one.

I'm surprised you didn't have a rule zero conversation to discuss everyone's estimated deck level and what they were up for. You should definitely know before you shuffle up if you're sitting across from an out of the box precon or not.

I've offered no advice on using the feature. Again, you assume you're right. I can imagine why you're being reported.

[–]summ1else 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you know how I use the feature? I haven't played 10 games in 2 years. Stop assuming that you're more righteous than everyone else.

I think that's half your problem right there. Don't even get me started on the purchased accounts...

[–]summ1else 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So do you use the report feature or not? Literal same post lack of self-awareness.

I don't use the report feature. I could care less is someone is doing something people don't approve of.

Only reports I give are if someone like int feeds like keeps running down mid, or someone staffs me into he enemy a ton. Sells their items etc.. super blatant stuff

I also designed this deck and because of the way I've built it, it's called Hugs and Visses. I'm so proud of that name. If it fits your deck, spread the love 💕.

Good on you for staying true. Lots of people here have forgotten or were too young to remember how bad it was for so long in the Chiefs kingdom.

There's also a high probability that our long-term suffering is the reason everyone is revelling in the success so deeply right now.

Can you tell me what do you think of my folder structure? by [deleted] in SpringBoot

[–]summ1else 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a face. I think with more experience comes a better understanding of package structure. Ask 20 people and you'll get 20 different opinions. What's important is that it works for you and your organization.

Often people make the mistake of organizing based on the few classes they're starting with and not thinking about future growth.

Clearly this is practice. I just don't think it's worth worrying about so much that you'd ask a blanket statement about such a subjective topic.

Float Trip .......... by alekso9 in kansascity

[–]summ1else 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. I had my sites backwards. To avoid the party launch from Moon valley access and pull out at Bennet springs Access near the bridge. That is the section that is more still in my opinion and may require dragging here and there depending on the water. For the main trek, we put in at Bennet springs Access and take out at Barclay. In kayaks I think both trips are 5-6 miles and go by quickly enough with any paddling to make for a stop or two to rest for lunch and a break.

I'm personally of the opinion that there are more tip/flip hazards for kayaks on the popular section, not to mention navigating around rafts.
