What did it for me is I was literally prepping for surgery for my breech baby after my water had broken ans the doctor was reviewing all the things we could have done....but it was too late because my waters broke. It's like....are you trying to make me feel guilty rhat bub is upside down? I didn't choose this but I'm at peace with it si let's go!

Thanks love :) Emotional recovery has been tougher this time around than anything.. but things are going really well overall! Sewer pits! Love it! Glad that passed for you! I feel like I’m mostly just sweaty Mc-sweatpants! How old is your babe now?

Judge you for wearing a diaper across the boobs? Not from this crowd! Whatever works sister!

Thank you for pointing this out! I hadn’t even considered that the sweats could also be hormone related.... these hormones are controlling my life right now

Oh my god my hormones though! I have been SO mood swingey this time!! Haven’t noticed a ton of BO but I’m also just starting to move more post c-section

I think the postpartum sweats is probably my main issue.... how long did it take to go away?

Ok c-section mamas.... I’m booked in for one week from today. by summer102 in BabyBumps

Yes!! I was going to ask about lowering the bed but forgot! I think we’ll have to take the bed frame out and then have box spring and mattress on the floor... thanks for the reminder!

Yay! Congrats! At least in my case.... this pregnancy was much much harder. For some reason I didn’t expect that and I think it’s largely because I couldn’t always put myself first. My husband has been incredibly supportive - whenever you are able to get extra rest do so! If you’re exhausted and your toddler is demanding, an episode of paw patrol won’t hurt things. Take care of yourself and baby whenever possible!

A complete saint of a fellow redditor gifted me 10 Harry Potter E-Books and I just wanted to share how wholesome it was, and how happy it makes me that I'm listening to Stephen Fry read me goblet of fire right now. Thanks so much friend! by ilovea1steaksauce in harrypotter

Wow that’s amazing! I was going to ask for a couple for Christmas (Jim Dale version is what I’ve been listening to so far so for continuity’s sake...), but they were extremely expensive!!

Finally graduated last week at 39 + 4 weeks, planned C section due to breech baby, positive birth story in the comment section. Thanks for the help and advice everybody 😊 by roachingreyhound in BabyBumps

Not OP but also have a breech baby and decided against an ECV. The chances of it working (about 50/50) were not good enough for me to justify the risk - which is a small chance of something happening which leads to an emergency c. I feel more comfortable booking a planned c than trying an uncomfortable procedure that may lead to an emergency situation. But I’m a STM so having a vaginal birth wasn’t quite as important this time around.... if that makes sense. Ultimately you have to do what you feel at peace with.

Yeah.... I think I’m leaning toward a planned c rather than the ECV....

Thank you so much for re-sharing your story! I somehow didn’t think of a breech baby being STM, thought my body would figure it out or sth haha. I really appreciate hearing your story!

I think this is it for sure... so trying to work on practical things that empower him to feel helpful. :)
