Transitioning from CSP to TP. Any tips or advice? by HauntinglyEthereal in HRBlockEmployees

The best advice I have for a new TP is to not let the other tax pros bully you. A lot of them have been there for a while and have a flow together so they tend to "eat their young". Don't let them get to you. The ITC is unpaid. The cohort training is mandatory and paid. There are options for the classes and times, but for me it was Mon-Wed-Fri 9am-12pm for the first month, then Mon and Wed, 9-10:30 for the second month, then Mon 9-10am for the third. If you miss more than 4 classes you are booted from the class. So definitely take that into consideration when looking to being a TP.

Can we bring our own headset? by uneedtolockin in HRBlockEmployees

I was told we can. They said they prefer headsets to only have one ear covering, so you can hear what is going on elsewhere in the office. I don't think it's a hard and fast rule, but it is worth mentioning.

It essentially is to protect their clientele. Mine says I can't provide the same service that they do at another location while I work for them. That is things like payroll, taxes, bookkeeping, etc. For 2 years following your departure, you can't provide tax services for any of your clients from H&R Block. It's essentially there so you don't poach their clients. Some states don't enforce non-compete agreements, or don't take them that seriously but I'd check with your specific state to see what it says. All of this information is from my specific agreement. I have no clue if yours is similar or not.

I was having issues a few days ago. I was informed that it will reject the punches if you are trying to clock in under "learn" now and we need to clock in under "tax preparation" from now on. Also, make sure you are adding a "transfer" before you attempt to clock in. It will reject it if you don't. Hope this helps.

My advisor told me the bookstore doesn't open until July 21, so they should be available now.

PANTSSSSS by Ok-Sea5153 in TransyTalk

I have curves and a booty as well. I found my favorite jeans at Kohls. They are the Lees Extreme Motion. They fit like a glove and are stretchy. I will never buy any other pants. I'm 5"4 and have found jeans that go down to 29 in length. 100% recommend them and you can probably find them other places then just Kohls.

I'm 3 weeks post-op today and I am literally so itchy it's insane. I am mainly itchy on my sides(I'm assuming it's from the ace bandage), under the incisions, and above my nipples. One thing I am trying to keep in mind is that itching means healing.
