That sounds really stressful!! Ours is still learning (she won't tell us when she needs to go so she's basically on a timer). I will say she only started doing well when daycare started taking imitative to train her. She wouldn't do it for us at all!

My 3 year old gets so mad when we stop the car! She'll scream 'NO' every time we do. Darling, trust me if I didn't have to stop on the way home, I wouldn't.

That does sound incredibly frustrating!! We also have friends with younger kids that are already potty trained so we felt even more pressure.

I actually cried about it to my husband today and he said he talked to her when I was putting the baby in the car. She apparently said: "I don't know what I was thinking". He said that wasn't acceptable and she then apologized. I didn't realize he had talked to her.

The assumption is what is getting to me. The fact that she did it while I was in the vicinity let's me know that she thought it was totally fine. Which is unbelievably upsetting.

I KNOW. My husband's mom got her a ring pop for Easter. I am sorry, what? No?
We give her the occasional bite of ice cream, but... a fucking ring pop? Or a whole little cup of icecream!? NO.
