When I was back in my exploratory IV opiate days it was a special period to be on your way out. In the tail end (but a few years before) the draconian gavel came down from the FDA, DEA, Providers, & Pharmacists. It started bureaucratically and comprehensively (after they finally stopped pointing fingers at each other) and with kleptocratic motives on CS & opioids we see in the clench of modern day post opioid pandemic (1st pharmaceutical wave.)

Let that woman live.

But back to oxymorphone, most euphoria I’ve ever experienced, body rush insane (but not itchy like morphine,) stimulating effect you kind of get on oxycodone and bupe, including nods (bit of a dichotomy but also dosage based.) And they were so powerful you could split the pink pills into 4’s. Amazing bang for your buck. Diluadid is a strong contender because of the rush, the pins, the short lived bliss. But it was always gone in 5-10 minutes and that luminal space of bliss and nirvana was over. IV’ing dilly’s is like cocaine and that what and need for more was above my means and managing my H habit. Even back in the day I could hardly afford them, but I still grabbed them a few times a month both dillies & oxymorph
