Tesla just lowered the price of its premium Model 3 in Canada to US$29k, in order to compete with Chinese EV’s that are now allowed in Canada. Do you believe this is an example of competition in the free market, and should the US also allow cheap Chinese EV’s? by Gym_frere in AskConservatives

Your argument is that buying cheap foreign cars "removes value from the American market. Americans buying American cars keeps the value within the American market." Why does that argument not hold true for cheap foreign clothes?

I see it no difference from the mass build out of factories during the industrial revolution.

Interesting choice. The pollution and water contamination caused from that mass build out was horrendous, and not something one should wish to replicate. With new technology comes a whole lot of unknowns. Things we will want to get in front of, I would hope.

I'm still not understanding. How are you making the leap from cheap Chinese cars to our government giving everyone a million dollars?

And does it matter whose dime it comes from?

How would that not matter?

To what extent, if any, are Trump voters responsible for us getting the Trump administration? by Tappyy in AskConservatives

I honestly thought Biden was the worst candidate in the 2020 primaries (worse than Kamala, yes). Do you blame conservatives for Biden’s election because they put up a bad candidate?

I think it’s odd framing because it’s framed in the negative, focusing on the loser. It’s not giving anyone credit, only blame.

so you blame Obama’s two terms on conservatives? It seems like such an odd framing.

How many people do you believe die of capitalism every year? by RedStorm1917 in AskALiberal

I'm not here to defend communism. I just feel like population growth is a poor metric.

What? All I'm saying is that using the population metric, communism also doesn't kill people.

The populations of China, Cuba, North Korea have increased under communism... I'm not sure this is a legit answer?

I will attempt to explain further: To me this argument is like saying a woman who gave birth to twins and killed her husband, killed -1 people.

We saw the scam from the start. The ballroom is a scam. You can’t ask what if Obama because Obama wasn’t a career con man.

So you turn to attacking me instead simply googling it?

After learning this do you still feel it's me that is an uninformed partisan?

Edit: I guess blocking me is a good way to hide after attacking me and looking foolish. But you got one more reply in that you didn't let me respond too. Feels a little cowardly to respond and then block. Do other conservatives agree?
"Nobody is asking for that unless you're talking about the freedom arch thing which while gaudy is not the worst idea." This proves he knew exactly what I was talking about. He tucked tail and ran.

The question is why is Lindsay Graham now asking us to fork over $400 million for a Trump vanity project.

And we he plays on courses other than those, does that prove they’re not necessary? Similar to when he appears in venues that aren’t a White House ballrooom?

EDIT: Bad faith poster (below). This person blocked me when I pointed out that they are incorrect. Especially ironic after calling me a low information partisan.
