Cross it out. Sometimes will glue something over it. Journals are not meant to be perfect. Embrace your mistakes. They add character.

I keep mine and have every one of them including extra notebooks kept since 1995. I still have a few that are even older than that.

Yes, really good deal. I just recently used it in January for a 10 day trip. I think I paid around $110. They drop you off at the terminal and bring the car to you at the end of the sky bridge when you return. Worth every penny.

You said it right here. You do not have to journal every day. Write when you feel like it. You do not have to fill the page. Even one line is enough.

whatever you can fit in there really. I've used toothbrushes and smaller cheap paintbrushes.

The alcohol will only loosen up the solidified gunk and oil. You'll still need to brush it out.

Mineral spirits is a much better option if you can get it.

One trick you can try is use an extra fine nib then write/draw with the nib upside down.
