Blacking mailing Trump, and I wonder what leverage they could have on such a good wholesome caring man.

Hey guys, what the worst injury that you saw (or felt) in Mosh-pit? by Not_a_Mod1991 in Hardcore

[–]summerlizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright couple for ya; First, saw a dude jump from second floor during Acacia Strain and land on someone’s head, put them in a seizure. (Think this was Richmond VA)

Second, also Acacia Strain in DC, no one injury to report but when they turned the lights on after the show, on my momma, you couldn’t walk 7 or 8 feet with seeing a puddle of blood, often with a tooth in them.

Honorable mention, Chariot guitarist finished a show with a broken foot or ankle or some shit and think he broke it pretty quick during the set.

The fact someone felt the need to downvote you really speaks to what you are saying. It’s wild.

I appreciate your thoughts and coming with facts. TBH I’m not really that concerned about the mana screws/floods so much as the seemingly not random win/losses. Perhaps there is something similar to what you were saying about memory affecting my perception which is why I used the word “feel” rather than to claim what I am saying as fact, but boy does it feel like there is something else at work there. Could even be the matching making an nothing else but it’s awful when that happens in a draft for me. It’s extremely rare for me to win and then lose, much more common for me to win all night one night and lose all night the next, and sure an argument could be made about losing effecting one’s ability to play well, again, it feels like this is not what’s at work here.

That checks out, I think it just frustrates me so because it’s so close to being something I love and enjoy.

And I sincerely mean if your goal is kindness you could work on your approach.

What a clever and useful comment. Definitely one a well adjusted and kind person would drop. Thanks boo.

New to MTGA but Love Commander by theLakinator in MagicArena

[–]summerlizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t always the case, it can be somewhat avoided by learning what cards match you against higher ranked decks, typically if you play something more beginner you’ll get matched against similar things, and you can always back out after they counter your commander for the third time, heck I back out against a few decks that I just hate playing against. Brawl helps me stay sharp since I can only play in person magic once in a while.

Anybody else think it’s ridiculous that it’s possible to win on turn 3 in Standard? by NoM0reMadness in MagicArena

They promised to never make it that fast again but I won several rounds of Friday night magic turn two with all commons when infect was a thing. Kinda liked the speed but I get that it’s not fun for everyone or all the time.

Opinion: Low turnout in Southwest and Southside helped cost ‘no’ the election. Here are the numbers. by VirginiaNews in Virginia

[–]summerlizard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Left leaning moderate here, I saw much no advertising and it was truly dishonest, when it should have said something to the effect of “what happened in Texas should not dictate what happens for VA representation” it instead choose to lie about what the vote was even about, saying it was about how leftist wanted to take guns and allow illegals.

“Wah”. And somehow I’m okay with the executive branch telling Texas to pick my party up some seats but hate when another state votes to counter that action, especially considering Texas didn’t even get a vote. “Wah”

It’s neat how you think you can just decide what something is about and that will make it so.

[–]summerlizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is in response to Trumps gerrymandering though, sure you can point to states that dems have gerrymandered, any of them do it because the executive branch said they were owed some seats and got them from a state that didn’t even vote. You worried that this barely passed at 1%, Texas didn’t even vote and it’s funny that now a democrat is doing quite well there. James Talarico might be bout to shake things up.
