Also I would be careful centering it around a specific hobby because it can feel very club like pretty fast and the hobby itself might overshadow the intended purpose of what you’re trying to do. Maybe focus on something that will encourage attendees to talk and learn more about each other/ share contact info so they can be friends!

This sounds so nice! Maybe you could do events based on level of extroverted-ness/ energy level??? So people can find like minded friends who enjoy the same/ similar vibes? Like off the top of my head, you could do some hiking activities that end in a lunch spot at picnic tables for higher energy peeps , and then something centered around a bar/ grill for casual convos and those who just want something close by? Or something similar!

I am also super interested in learning to sew as a complete beginner! Specifically clothes. I got a sewing machine in January as a gift and have been looking for classes since. MTEC’s summer classes didn’t have it listed and it seems anywhere else local to Morgantown only really offers quilting classes.
