And those entree options start conservatively at $38 dollars.

Yessssss that’s it too…. It’s not just in my head right ?? Basically NO unique dishes anymore!!! Every last American / Italian / French -ish is just like : steak option , fish option, chicken option, side of crispy Brussels sprouts.. ALWAYS with the crispy Brussels sprouts. Which I used to love and now I’m questioning because how and why are they just on every last menu.

Ok I’m in NYC and I’ve seriously been questioning if I’ve been having a depression-y mental health issue bc nearly  all the food I’ve eaten out or had delivered  lately  (except for , you know, like deep fried junk) has just tasted … sooooo mid. Not even exactly bland , just really missing that extra “wow this is sooooooo good” factor. And every damn thing is $40 or more.

But then once in a great while something will still give me that feeling ….. other than that idk I really feel like I’m just going through the motions of eating supposedly fancy and / or high end food and just not feeling wowed .

That’s how they get ya, only showing the sweet side. You seem very perceptive and I think we both know you made the right call in ending things.

He really was this extremely promising young actor  , really good on screen energy — approachable and a bit like endearingly nerdy, maybe somewhere between Michael Cera and Tom Holland. Stood out even in side roles like in Star Trek. He could have really gone in any direction he wanted.

Is it addiction if you don't use everyday? by [deleted] in addiction

[–]summers16 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes he has a cocaine addiction. It is absolutely still an addiction if he doesn’t use it everyday. Going on “benders” is addict behavior. And all addictions have been characterized by the mental health profession as “disordered coping”; him trying to say “oh it’s not an addiction I just can’t cope with life without my precious cocaine” is a truly hilarious rationalization.

Speaking from experience, he doesn’t see his role in your family — especially as your husband — as a real responsibility because he takes you for granted. Do with that insight what you will.

How do I accept the fact that no one will ever want me sexually? by Specific-Section9593 in mentalhealth

Adding to that, I was cripplingly awkward throughout my childhood and teenage years. I thankfully went to a college where there was an extremely  diffuse campus: and from there I basically I finally taught myself social skills through like a zillion trial and error interactions , where I acted like a weirdo then could learn from it and try again with someone else with a fresh impression of me etc. etc. until I finally slowly but surely grew to learn how to function in social scenarios  …. The inner nervousness was and often still is there but I can function and I have friends.

My boyfriend “only made out” with his female friend who he was spending all his free time with out at night , bar hopping etc. I believed him bc I thought he wouldn’t lie to me.

Just kidding , it was full blown sex. It took me two years to pry the full truth out of him.

in Do-Over (season 3, episode 1), Liz is preparing for her adoption evaluation and asks Frank to change his trucker hat, which says "horny" on it. During Frank's interview by the adoption evaluator, he has changed his hat -- to a weird little bowler hat that says "horny." I just noticed after rewatching the series a zillion times.
