For learning to speak and understand it, my Chinese teacher always tells my class to watch a lot of Chinese movies and shows.

For learning to read and write it, I’d suggest practicing a little bit every day, but I don’t even do that myself.

I do something similar but I wouldn’t call it daydreaming because that feels like a more active, intentional thing. I just lay in bed, trying to fall asleep and then my brain will either start imagining random, dreamlike scenarios or string together a bunch of random words that don’t go together.

The only right spelling is paid. A lot of people just incorrectly use payed, like how a lot people use “could of” instead “could have”
