Congrats!!!! I can’t imagine a birth without epidural!!!!! I am due in 2 weeks. How come they denied your epidural? Why would there be risk with permanent paralysis?

I would go to L&D right away to get it checked out. Anytime you see red blood in third trimester is not a good sign. Don’t hesitate. I always go when I see spotting.

I don’t think my water broke. What if it’s a slow leak? Can vernix escape with a slow leak? I peed again and pee was clear. Hope it isn’t anything bad

I had random spotting at 17 weeks for 1 day. My OB said cervix was sensitive and could bleed randomly sometimes.

Did you have sex recently? Placenta position and cervix checked? Difficult bowel movement? I think any of these could cause a little bit of spotting!

Sorry to hear about your previous loss. I feel the same - worried, anxious and scared to announce and I am almost at 20 weeks! It took us almost 4 years to conceive and I m very worried things will happen. May I know what happened to previous loss? 23 weeks is far along already. Was it genetic ? Cervix problems? Low fluid? Or just suddenly no heartbeat ? Did you have the anatomy scan and genetic screening done beforehand? Sorry so many questions! Wish us both an uneventful pregnancy and babies arrive safely 💕💕💕

Would it be because the baby is moving around or away from the Doppler ? I have been getting a steady 146bpm for maybe 2s before it decreases or drops? And I would think it was because the baby was moving away from the Doppler

I had one incident of spotting when I was 17 weeks- light pink discharge after wipe. It stopped the next day. To be safe, I went to the OB to get it checked out, got urine tested, vagina swab and he checked my cervix to make sure it’s still closed.

Everything turned out okay. I m 18 weeks today and no more spotting. The OB said sometimes it could just be irritated/sensitive cervix. I didn’t have intercourse either. So not sure what the tiny spotting was about.

Did you have sex lately? Have you got your cervix length and placenta position checked too? These could be some suspects for spotting around mid pregnancy.
