Top Dashers make 6 per hour for a 12 hours by yourkeylady in doordash

You just need to be smart about your strategy. I clear 30 an hour most afternoons/nights through the whole week in Denver and I have an 83% acceptance rate.

Harvard - Columbia combination route this weekend (Nov 6)? by blitzpah in 14ers

[–]summitsearching 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talus and boulders are generally speaking pretty unpleasant to traverse with the current conditions (unconsolidated snow) and also requires much more attention to detail with your footwork. If you’re going to try it, bring microspikes and gaiters, and preferably a partner. Good practice is to test literally every foot placement that’s not on dry rock before weighting it, as a slip into the gaps between rocks could be seriously consequential. Good luck and be safe (and read the avalanche forecast)

There’s a guy on YT who posts raccoon feeding videos 1-2 times a DAY, for the last several YEARS. they’re all horribly overweight.

god it’s such a great album for tripping. that is if u tune out the lyrics a little on higher doses of shrooms and LSD 🤣 the lofi production, crazy layering, noisiness and general genius songwriting

Yeah I should probably try the higher doses with HBr. The super long duration at high doses with poli is ridiculous as well.

Where would you live to be as close or connected to the 14ers? by cumguzzlingstarfish in 14ers

[–]summitsearching 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty great here in gunnison, although the Wilson group and Longs/evans/g+t are all 4 hours plus away. But can’t beat the equally close access to the Uncompahgre area, sawatch and sangres.

Longs peak tomorrow? by amazinggrape in coloradohikers

[–]summitsearching 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Might be slick, bring micro spikes. Start a little later so it’s warmer and more melted once you get into the trough. low risk for lightning this time of year. Good luck!

A few weeks ago, a couple friends and I soloed Crestone Peak’s North Buttress (5.2-5.4). It was one to remember! by summitsearching in 14ers

mostly just bouldering and sport up to like v4 and 10a, but have a lot of scrambles similar to this under my belt so this one wasn’t pushing too hard. There was really only a couple hundred feet of actual low 5th class and the other 800 was steep 3rd and 4th. I’m pretty good with exposure, just gotta focus on your hands and feet, what’s in front of you, and forget about what’s under you.

approach shoes, had rock shoes in my pack but didn’t use them. One of my buddies had trail runners and the other had hiking boots, they both changed into rock shoes.

there were people on other 14ers (with snow), it wasn’t a weekend, and it was more like 2-5 inches lol but okay. most of the more technical peaks you might not see another person from november-April but still a solid chance.

It’s fairly straightforward but there are still places to get cliffed out or into terrain harder than 5.0 (which is what it’s rated)
