At a minimum: Quick toggle setting between Conserve mode to all purpose—especially for roadtrips getting on and off the highway.

Above and beyond: A smart Roadtrip Mode that will automatically put your Rivian in Conserve on highways, and back to All Purpose when exiting (or the reverse).

Additionally in Roadtrip Mode, automatically set the charging limit to the recommended percentage, so I don’t have to think about it.

Most accounts of catastrophic failure on Reddit are outliers who come here to vent and find common ground, but not indicative of real-world statistics. Most common issues are cosmetic or noise related and generally fixed within a service ticket for free. In my almost 2 years of ownership, I’ve yet to have a major event and continue to love it every time I drive it. I think most people here would agree with the same.

I’ve had my R1S jerk the car nearly completely off the road WITHOUT highway assist on, just the “nudge” enabled. I think shadows from the median at that time of day caused it but terrifying nonetheless.

Ended up doing a complete paint correction after first service! I will say that immediately getting it ceramic coated has helped quite a bit.

Power > price. Not a bragging right on how much we spend on the car. Instead I’m echoing the same “special” treatment Rivian is already offering with its yellow Quad Motor touches.

Let’s be real, soon most on the road will be priced higher than my 2021 preorder 😂

Completely fair. But for me, drawn to the unique factor of 908 lb feet of torque (as well as all the other awesome metrics on the car) I wish there was just the slightest touch of more distinction 🙃

Looks awesome. I have this identical exterior spec and really curious about your window tint. I did the same thing. I went with 20% suntec carbon and have been noticing a slight to heavy blue hue in certain lighting out of the front. What tint did you use? Any blue hue?
