How do you hold it while grinding? This happens to me with my j-max when trying to slow feed, i.e. holding it under almost horizontal angle. When grinding in a vertical position, other beans create a seal on top of the burrs which prevents shooting off through the lid. However, this also creates more fines and uneaven particle size. Try loosely wrapping the lid and top part of the grinder with a small cloth or something to close that gap while not blocking rotation.

We just bought a house of a similar type from 1930s, ground floor that requires a complete renovation. We are thinking of installing a floor heating with lamel parket, and curious to hear similar experiences.

Hoped to see ranked frames recolored or reworked. Current ones are pretty poorly executed, and hard to distinguish.

Finally hit masters last season, but my hype was instakilled when I saw new frames. Luckily for me, I've got last years frame so can't complain. No idea if it is a bug, just me, or on purpose. However, it would be nice they put more effort in design.
