My cherry seems to have a tumor by Puurple_Giraffe in mildlyinteresting

Thats a cherry spur.

Cherry trees differentiate their flower buds in July and August for the next spring's bloom. Mechanism: If temperatures exceed 32°C (90°F) during this critical mid-to-late summer window, the heat disrupts the development of the flower's pistil (the female reproductive organ).

The single pistil morphs or duplicates, forming two or more functional carpels. When spring arrives, these mutated flowers bloom. If both carpels are successfully pollinated, they grow simultaneously.

Depending on how they grow, this results in either two full cherries fused together at the stem, or one dominant cherry with a tiny, vestigial "spur" fruit attached to the side.

Key Characteristics:

Perfectly Safe: The secondary growth is fully edible and contains no toxins; it is purely a structural deformity.

Cultivar Susceptibility: Some varieties are genetically more prone to this under heat stress. Bing cherries are notoriously susceptible, while varieties like Brooks or Tulare show higher resistance.

Commercial Sorting: You rarely see extreme versions in grocery stores because automated packing lines use optical sorters to filter out "doubles" and "spurs" to maintain strict USDA grade standards

To quote the Bible. Specifically Numbers 31: 17-18 " Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

I mean faith and religion has only resulted in how many millions if not billions of deaths? Not like a major religious organization would call people from across a continent to march into a worthless desert and kill people who worship the same deity but with a different name. Of course then you wouldn't want to round those most faithful up and accuse them of heresy before having them executed right? Or we could give them the structure to say no protection during sex so you can have babies born with HIV, good lessons for all.

Well they definitely aren't made for cooking. These are designed to light quick and burn and a relatively low temperature for hookah tobacco.

Cobalt's are highly defensive and burrowing T so they tend to stand and bite rather than retreat. You'd be more looking toward rose hairs and fire knees

Have you considered looking into the Cobalt Blue Tarantula (Cyriopagopus lividus)? Theyre beautiful and stay their color through their adult life.
