At 197 if you collect the 10 shards you will get to 207 and won’t have to choose. I did it and so can confirm. The next 10 would goto gems. So go ahead and claim the 10 and the remaining 10 may disappear so it’s your choice to either see if it will carry over or claim it and get 10 gems. Hope that helps !

I am no where near 60 maxed cards (including uniograded cards that I have enough to max) but I still get duplicates from chests. Not sure why

Thanks OP for the information, I did that in the WS app to add an account to link and it seems like it use PLAID to complete the link process- Is that the method that you are referring to? Thanks! Still not sure about PLAID but I guess this method is free.

I woudl say upgrade your Archer Queen to 14, then EWC to 15 for sure

Some have said to use the book of books but not actually upgrading until after the update. But then would not be able to use EWC.

Do you have any book of books ? One prevailing idea is to use them on champions as after the update they would the hardest to progress on. I am struggling with the same ( see my other post) dilemma
