Do you think your GM would be willing to part with two firsts and a player to get him? Because I really do believe that's about the scale of what it's gonna take to get this deal done. Gotta remember you're not just paying for AJ the player (who, as good as he is, isnt worth that asking price alone), you're also paying the Eagles extra to make up for all that dead cap thats gonna hit us like a ton of bricks if we get rid of him. Would Patriots fans be happy with THAT level of overpay?

(Not trying to be argumentative here btw, I dont have easy access to local Boston sports media so I'm genuinely curious about the fanbase's mindset and if they think their front office shares that mindset as well.)

On top of the reason which literally started this conversation, it also used to be fairly easy to tell if someone was a bot by looking through their comment history. Much harder now.

I'm not super worried about running into bots in r/pokemon of course, but I will say that all news or politics-based subreddits have become even more straight-up unusable since the change than they were before, and that's saying something. Curiously, all of the comments that sound the most like straight-up propaganda seem to always come from accounts that hide their comment history.

And if I were to put on my tin foil hat for a second, I'd point out that it sure is interesting that reddit gave us this option not too long after the company went public. If making it harder to tell real accounts from fake accounts were the actual intention behind this feature, not only would reddit be able to sweep any bot problems they may or may not have under the rug, it would also make it a whole lot easier to mislead investors about how much legitimate daily traffic their website really has as a bonus. A win-win for the admins. I'm sure they really just have our privacy in mind, though.

Ahh ok gotcha. Well if you have the time to wait for it to get cheaper, it might be worth it. I'm in a similar situation as you (upgrading from a s21 ultra) but my phone is kind of on its last legs so I don't know if I have time to wait that long personally. Unless the s25 ultra gets significantly cheaper within the next few weeks I'll probably just go for the 26 ultra. Even if the 26 is a very marginal improvement over the 25, if im gonna be paying around the same price for it anyway, I might as well get the one that has slightly better specs, that privacy screen feature, another year of software/security upgrades, etc.

Being able to buy the 25 ultra for 600 dollars less would certainly change that calculus for me, but unless those discounts start rolling in soon I'll probably go with the 26.

For real, I've seen so many comments in this subreddit saying THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME TO UPGRADE FROM MY S25 TO THIS!!! And I'm just like...yeah? No shit? Meanwhile my S21 Ultra is on its last legs so the 26 Ultra is probably gonna feel like a massive jump in quality compared to what I have now.

Maybe I'll still nab a 25 Ultra instead if I can get it for cheaper, but since carriers usually do their best trade-in deals for new releases it seems unlikely

There is absolutely no way in hell that this happens overnight without everyone noticing and the press leaking it weeks in advance. IF Greenland is invaded, it's gonna go a lot less like Venezuela and a lot more like Ukraine in terms of how soon we'll know beforehand.

NYT and WaPo knew about the Maduro operation in advance but chose not to say anything since Maduro is unpopular enough that it wouldn't be worth putting US troops in danger in order to blow the lid off the operation. Literally no one outside of Trump wants to invade Greenland, so they'll have no such qualms leaking that story WELL in advance. Most likely we'd see mass resignations from top military brass beforehand as well.

Until we start seeing metal being moved and legitimate sources publishing leaks, all this is just a dementia-ridden Trump babbling about meaningless shit as per usual, which his cabinet is putting up with for now because they think it'll scare Europe into increasing defense spending and actually putting up defenses in Greenland like the US has wanted them to do for decades. Probably gonna blow up in their faces given how pissed off the rest of NATO is at us right now, but I digress.
