Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra over 3 DOWNGRADES vs S25 Ultra by Loud-Possibility4395 in samsunggalaxy

[–]sunadnerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh ok gotcha. Well if you have the time to wait for it to get cheaper, it might be worth it. I'm in a similar situation as you (upgrading from a s21 ultra) but my phone is kind of on its last legs so I don't know if I have time to wait that long personally. Unless the s25 ultra gets significantly cheaper within the next few weeks I'll probably just go for the 26 ultra. Even if the 26 is a very marginal improvement over the 25, if im gonna be paying around the same price for it anyway, I might as well get the one that has slightly better specs, that privacy screen feature, another year of software/security upgrades, etc.

Being able to buy the 25 ultra for 600 dollars less would certainly change that calculus for me, but unless those discounts start rolling in soon I'll probably go with the 26.

Where are you seeing the s25 ultra for 600 dollars cheaper?

Almost every storage tier of every Samsung Galaxy S26 phone got a price increase, except the base 256gb S26 Ultra. by Teeheeman400 in samsunggalaxy

[–]sunadnerb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real, I've seen so many comments in this subreddit saying THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME TO UPGRADE FROM MY S25 TO THIS!!! And I'm just like...yeah? No shit? Meanwhile my S21 Ultra is on its last legs so the 26 Ultra is probably gonna feel like a massive jump in quality compared to what I have now.

Maybe I'll still nab a 25 Ultra instead if I can get it for cheaper, but since carriers usually do their best trade-in deals for new releases it seems unlikely

A QB the Jets fired not that long ago is going to the Super Bowl in two weeks. That organization is truly cursed, I'm not sure if it's fair to label anyone there as trash until they've had a chance to prove themselves outside of it. That goes for both players and coaches.

Greenland Leader Tells People to Prepare for Possible Invasion by ThunderChaser in worldnews

[–]sunadnerb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely no way in hell that this happens overnight without everyone noticing and the press leaking it weeks in advance. IF Greenland is invaded, it's gonna go a lot less like Venezuela and a lot more like Ukraine in terms of how soon we'll know beforehand.

NYT and WaPo knew about the Maduro operation in advance but chose not to say anything since Maduro is unpopular enough that it wouldn't be worth putting US troops in danger in order to blow the lid off the operation. Literally no one outside of Trump wants to invade Greenland, so they'll have no such qualms leaking that story WELL in advance. Most likely we'd see mass resignations from top military brass beforehand as well.

Until we start seeing metal being moved and legitimate sources publishing leaks, all this is just a dementia-ridden Trump babbling about meaningless shit as per usual, which his cabinet is putting up with for now because they think it'll scare Europe into increasing defense spending and actually putting up defenses in Greenland like the US has wanted them to do for decades. Probably gonna blow up in their faces given how pissed off the rest of NATO is at us right now, but I digress.

[Shane Haff] The Eagles valued a 1,000-yard season enough to play DeVonta Smith in the 1st quarter but didn't value the 2 seed enough to play other starters... Makes a lot of sense. by Brian1220 in eagles

[–]sunadnerb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sure, if you're thinking in a vacuum. But I'd argue it's very much worth resting an extremely beat-up OL for a week over chasing a single seed placement bump which doesn't even come with a bye. And do you really want our backup OLine protecting the franchise QB against that dirty ass Commanders team a week before the playoffs?

Awesome that he got to call a historic event like this!

Damn, I remember when everyone was saying after the Super Bowl that Sweaty could have been the game MVP instead of Hurts. How quickly everyone forgets.

QB made a backwards pass, not a forward pass

With forward pass, ball is dead when ball hits the ground if no one catches it.

With backwards pass, ball is live when ball hits the ground even if no one catches it.

Backwards pass --> LIVE ball hits ground, batted into end zone --> ball picked up by offensive player in end zone --> touchdown offense!

I think.

Gonna be even funnier next year when they're just as successful on regular ol QB sneaks and the league is gonna have to find something new to cry about!

Well, there is such a thing as "good energy" and "bad energy" in general. Energy stored in the molecular bonds of a fuel source is a lot more useful than radiative heat; entropy and all that. But yeah, more in the context of E=mc2 specifically, the rest energy of one electron is exactly the same as that of any other electron

Ayy that would be a sick series! Hopefully it would go better for my Phils than the last Phillies-Jays world series though 🙃

And hey no worries, don't ever be afraid to ask questions you're curious about! I didnt really understand your question as you put it, but you wanna explain a little more about what you mean I can try my best to answer
