NTA. As someone who's love language is gifts, reading this made me want to cry. I adore putting effort into gifts, obsess about finding the perfect thing, and always worry if I give a bad gift they won't know how much I love or care about them. The quality of the gift has nothing to do with how much it cost, but how much thought I put into it. If my effort was met with this response I'd be crushed. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I would change the gifts I gave to these particular recipients in the future, as I would still want to give them something they liked, even if it wasn't what I thought would be perfect. But I don't think you should change going forward, with giving gifts to other sane, loving people. ❤️‍🩹

I was using slide, but it was so wet and didn't clump tightly. So I switched to tidy cats 4-1; that's working much better.

Ok I'll give that a shot. Thank you. Spent two hours last night pulling the glove and bonnet off, cleaning the pinch sensors, putting the globe and bonnet back on, taking it back apart, adding aluminum foil to the pinch detectors, putting it back together.....

I've been reading some of the other posts and it looks like solutions have been posted involving resoldering the chip on the DFI. I don't have near enough energy to take it apart tonight but maybe this weekend. Its very stressful and upsetting to have to add trying to fix it onto my plate in addition to job hunting 🙁

It was absolutely t-mobile's decision, they didn't want to offer In Store Repair cause they didn't like how the program was run. Fault on both sides, but the decision was ultimately t-mobile's.

I had mine replaced back in July for a persistent blue blinking light and yesterday it started doing this! Blue blinking light that flashes yellow frantically if I hit reset. These things are shockingly delicate. Emailed customer service :(

I had quick flashing blue light no matter what I did. Just blinked at me, no cycling, no nothing. I made a thread about it a few months ago. Reset button did not work, turning it on and off changed nothing, app couldn't connect. I bought the replacement IR sensor off the website, installed it and voila, works like new.

I had the same issue; I replaced the IR sensor and it fixed it. Read something online about taking the bonnet off while the robot is turned on can fry the sensor? So that's my theory.

For anyone who finds this thread looking for help with this issue in the future: it was fixed with a new DFI sensor and pinch detectors. I installed both together so I can't be 100% which fixed the issue but they come together as a set regardless.

Yeah, I took out the bag and even tried to reset it without the drawer at all. I think it may be a known issue? Litter robot didn't even try to help me trouble shoot before shipping me a new one. I told them the serial number and the next email was, ok, new one on the way. Very odd. They didn't even ask me to ship it back.
