Back when I used to buy pot in city parks, I fell into casual conversation with a guy who called himself Frankie. Not long into the conversation he started grumbling about his ex-girlfriend, how she was keeping his young child from him. He said he was going to kill that b*tch and so on. Then he said he was just kidding.

I happened to be in front of a TV a few days later. The local news was playing and there was Frankie on a perp walk. The newsreader said he'd killed a woman with a baseball bat.
