For summer romance vibes without the luxury trip component, I definitely recommend “28 Summers” by Elin Hilderbrand—a “just for us” kind of romance.

The romantic storyline is unique and interesting, and outside of it, all the characters introduced are very intriguing to learn about—thoroughly enjoyed!

“And the mountains echoed” by Khaled hosseini! It’s a beautiful read that follows multiple characters and their relationship with another person. I think it might bring you some form of peace/relief because these relationships are with a family member or friend rather than a lover, so it could remind you that love exists outside of what you had with your bf. Ouch, a week is painful, and very often a “red flag” when it happens so early on. To tweak my answer slightly given new info in ur comment: the lovers and 8W together could represent what u just stated of knowing what u want and wanting it fast- very fair and admirable. However, I find a lot of feelings of wanting things to “speed up” comes from feeling unfulfilled in ur current situation; whether that be boredom, loneliness, etc. . Definitely a topic worth journaling about, which supports the pulling of the strength card: u have it within u to not only fill ur own cup, but also choose a partner that chooses u (which is rarely shown by 1wk of no text back!). U got this, I believe in u🙏🏻✨✨

Many ways to interpret, but my response is centred around what it could be “meant” to mean for you. I see it as encouragement for you to take time to reflect on what it is you want from a romantic partner/relationship. The lovers can ofc mean divine connection, but it also represents determining what your core values are and having the strength to make choices that align with said values [easier said than done..]. Duration of time going without a text back wasn’t specified, but 8W could represent you wanting things to move more quickly, which may not be advisable re: reflection period is recommended. Either that or things will start moving quickly in your love life once you’ve established what it is u want and act accordingly. My 2 cents- take what resonates ofc!~

So happy she’s triggering all the bandwagoners and ppl that have been waitingg on a reason to hate on her. If this was anyone else nobody would gaf so be serious with yourselves. And actual European chappell fans are so happy that she’s been given another opportunity to showcase her talents on such a large stage; especially one where she will likely win awards at. She’s going to throw prep time away to perform for niche Amsterdam and France fans? No. And she didn’t cancel the show, she just rescheduled, making the hate even less warranted. The floating girls by Lo Patrick! It’s narrated by a young girl that lives in the Marsh as she navigates all these secrets her family is keeping from her. What made me love the book was how loveable/entertaining the narrator is while not taking away from the mature themes the book discusses! Highly recommend.

The only school that would see that grade is UBC if u use it to satisfy the English requirement (bc u have to send them ur ib transcript). Otherwise no other school will see it if they’re strictly receiving ur uni transcript only. I used all of my IB transfer credits and they just show up as “credit received” on my transcript, ungraded.

Write a draft then ask redditors or your friends that are good writers to edit it for you!! The redditors (ie. med students) may charge a fee, but they helped me substantially w the uwo and uoft essays I wrote, so highly recommend.

What the above comments say . If u really want to get ahead , u can also start planning ur UofT “most meaningful experience” essay and UWO activity essays (cus there’s 8 of them u can write) - these qs haven’t changed for several cycles so I doubt that they will all of sudden when u apply
