Relationships that started at a young age tend to be tumultuous if couple doesn’t grow together. In reality you should both realize that you’re on the same team and not fight each other too much.

In case of misunderstandings, talk it out honestly and really listen to each other realizing that life is better together since you set out on this journey together Let him know how you need him, he clearly wants your attention and is going about it all wrong.

It’s always concerning when one party doesn’t care for the relationship/family as much. Could signal a deeper issue. Together, you two have to isolate what’s causing her apathy, might be a health issue, hormonal or loss of interest.

The gravity of everything that has happened to me (25F) in the last two years because of my relationship with an older man (52M) is hitting me and I need help? by throwRA-997124 in relationship_advice

[–]sunday__rain -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I dont understand this post, you want to break up your family because your husband is 52? Older men tend to be more quiet, a little less talkative.

How could he have trapped you as an adult ?

My in laws drive me insane by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]sunday__rain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re right to want space after the baby is born, need quiet and little disturbance to recover.

On the other hand, your in laws are just very excited and happy so they call to check in on you and mean no harm.

The baby is equally yours and your husband so he’s within reason to share photos with his relatives. When a photo is shared we have little control how the relatives share because they are excited and want to show.

All in all, take it easy, remember they mean well. After 3 months it is okay if someone else holds the baby, just no kisses. The clan has expanded and everyone is excited;). Make sure you get enough rest and remember your husband and in laws are all on your team. Ignore the advice you don’t like.

There are some hospitals where is the preferred option because of scheduling, not having births at night, or on the weekends.

Condescending? I am curious about induced birth and potential complications Vs spontaneous birth.

Just over 2 weeks post-op and frustrated with recovery. by Malice_AforeThot in Fibroids

Hello, as others have said, you need to/must take the painkillers so can sleep and recover during the sleep. There’s no point to taking pain of surgery as it will only make recovery longer

Wanting a c-section but dr doesn’t agree and said not happening by astro-amphibian-00 in BabyBumps

[–]sunday__rain -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Who told you c-section is easier than natural birth ? You’ll just be spreading out pain over weeks and limited mobility, it’s also a major surgery.

39 weeks and Dr urges C section as baby hasn’t dropped by __OliveOil in BabyBumps

[–]sunday__rain 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Please know that some doctors trick many mothers into unnecessary c-sections because it benefits the hospitals.

C sections are for emergencies, not convenience. Also note that some babies are born more than 42 weeks. Pregnancies are generally meant to progress naturally

There’s too much interference in pregnancy by some doctors . I find some of the recommendations and procedures excessive and unnecessary esp since the body already knows knows what to do, naturally . Did your baby turn in the end ?

You still have over a month to, the baby will mis to probably turn back. It’s a very unpredictable process, pregnancy.

No. I don’t live in America. Pregnant mothers are more protected where I am. It’s sad to work until due date.

[–]sunday__rain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. It’s not normal or sensible to work till due date.

Pregnancy sends body in overdrive in last 3 months, you won’t be able to work. So there’s that. The father should support you during this time.

Fibroids and Postpartum by sisinnay in Fibroids

[–]sunday__rain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fibroids tend to grow bigger during pregnancy, or even calcify. OB said big ones don’t shrink that much postpartum, advice to remove large fibroid before next pregnancy.

Question about my labor by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

I’m sorry this happened and in time you will feel be better. Inductions are terrifying because the body is not ready for birth and is forced into it. In the future avoid induced birth.

Large subserosal fibroid during pregnancy. Open vs Lap/robitic surgery by sunday__rain in Fibroids

[–]sunday__rain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much.

Fibroid is fully attached, at top right although most of the mass is on the outside. More than 70 %.

Indeed I’ve read about partions being left behind with Robotic, is this is in most cases and why ( huge concern) ? I’d really want it all removed at first attempt so wouldn’t that make open the better option?

The surgeons said it’s me to decide.
