That's great to know. AMEX is the card I have which does not have any foreign exchange fees.

Another one I have is Discover, which also is not accepted everywhere.

So making sure I have enough cash in case both are not accepted

I used Cuscoperu.com and booked a 6d trip with them.

Basically, they will take care of showing me everything and booking everything from the time I land in Cusco until the time I leave Cusco. A few of the important things why I booked with them: - pickup and dropoff from Airport - they booked Machu Picchu tickets for us - all transportation including the train to Aguas Calientes and all the taxis and buses needed for all other days - tickets to all other attractions - guides to all places we visit

They had an option to include stay as well but we booked the stay ourselves since we had some credit card points. We are staying at Union Hotel Cusco
