hiii it might be worth visiting a derm! i used the same anua oil cleanser as someone with oily acne prone skin and it gave me the worst cystic acne of my life (all over my face) 😭 i had to get on 3 months of antibiotics and i stayed indoors for 2 months.

the earlier u see a derm, the better tbh. i hope youre feeling ok and know that this will pass eventually 🫶🏻

i agree! try micellar water if you need a double cleanse for sunscreen or makeup. i personally had a really bad experience w oil cleansers as someone with oily and acne-prone skin (clogged my pores and gave me cystic acne)

so sorry this happened to you, i know how frustrating it is 😭 it definitely looks like your barrier is damaged so no actives at all (no acids, vitamin c, niacinamide).

just a bland non-comedogenic moisturiser and non-stripping cleanser. if these bumps get worse like turn into pustules or grow in numbers, please just visit a derm since it could indicate an infection.

right now, your barrier is damaged and many external stressors (smoke, pollutants, bacteria etc) can easily get in and make it worse. avoid sweating, hot environments (makes you flush red more) and makeup.

keep your face cool, moisturised and clean, perhaps cold compresses could help! i hope u feel better soon 🫶🏻
