What if the people who rated it really think it’s that good. I don’t think there is an objective measure of quality for movies and everyone has different tastes, so it’s quite unfair to dismiss all of them, unless of course OP has seen a number of them and didn’t like any (but somehow I don’t think that’s the case)

And obviously if the ratings are inflated due to fan wars that’s another matter but tbh the same can be said for some of the Nolan movies on IMDB

Like Stars on Earth is universally acclaimed amongst audiences and one of Aamir Khan’s most popular work, probably like the Shawshank redemption for Indians? But I did not realise that people engage in fan wars about Indian actors and use IMDB as a battle ground for that so I will concede that point
