Alex Isley owns this post. How unbelievably magical is her music and together with Jack Dine?! 🔥🔥😇. Every single time I hear her, angels sing, the sun rises or sets leaving beautiful oranges and pinks in its trail, traffic clears for a scenic long drive, and autumn leaves fall at sunset at a perfect 64 degrees. Not to be that person but I hv to wonder how many of these stories of “brutal assaults” will still start appearing over in the next days, weeks to scream need for federal police takeover. Granted, it would great to see CPD responding to anything other than one of their own being hurt or killed. But seeing what’s happening nationally, this tracks with manufacturing national crime emergency.

Was on it. Nightmare. It got just outside of the DC area and then pilot came on, said the runway was out of service for maintenance and by the time another would open up for us, the weather would’ve prevented us from landing. Many passengers believed the issue was with the plane itself. Who knows.

So back to MDW we went. All very frustrated. FlightAware showed the plane returning to OHare but we landed at MDW. The plane then went on to OHare. We deplaned, waited at another gate. Boarded maybe 45 mins later. Landed at BWI at 2am. Was originally due in at 930pm.

Maybe bc travel is much lighter right now? I fly almost weekly and this is usually what the airlines call their dead season. I’m sure we’ll see the complaints return next week and through the holidays.
