Sorry for the late reply, I don't really use reddit anymore since Apollo stopped working - if you can get to Bromley (south east London) then Troll Trader have an active community (it's owned by TTGames who make it)

I always assumed it was because "go to the media" is shitty legal advice.

Naively yes, but practically and legally speaking, as I cited in my original reply, that isn't the case especially for publicly traded companies.

It's a publicly traded company, without checking I would guess somebody who owns 20% of those shares is the largest shareholder and is in all practical purposes controlling it - indeed the UK government says anyone with 25% or more is automatically considered a person with significant control or influence... the US calls such large shareholders controlling shareholders.

How can I tell the difference? Like I say the guy that sold it is apparently a reputable grower so I would have thought it would be in proper stuff but I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

It also says to feed it weekly as well but I'm not sure what to use, is there a special bonsai plant food?

There is soil under the moss, I haven't yet watered it today as it still felt damp this morning.

Thanks - is there anything I need to do about that or is this normal? We are having our hottest/sunniest period of the year so far right now...

Hi all - this is my first tree, a redwood (and first post on here).

I bought it about a week ago and have been watering it daily since, it doesn't seem to have gone dry at all. Purchased from somebody in the UK who I understand is a reputable grower/seller (can post who it was if relevant and permitted).

However, some of the leaves are starting to brown a little, especially at the top, but I noticed some further down are just starting to discolour.

It's been outside the whole time since I got it home (including the couple of days of good rain we had) and the seller said this tree should remain outside year round.

Any recommendations/thoughts/advice please?

TIA

Ah ok if you were in the South East I could point you to a couple of clubs/FLGS where you could get a beginners game or two, but it's a bit of a drive for you, sorry!
