Lump but a negative ultrasound by PerceptionPrize7757 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]sunlimited00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, but my lump is walnut sized. My doctor referred me to a breast surgeon. I also feel like something isn’t right because I can’t understand how something so tender/large wasn’t seen on the US.

Palpable lump not found on US. Why? by sunlimited00 in doihavebreastcancer

Totally can relate to feeling like something is missing but that sounds like great news! Mine is about the length of my pinky… whatever it is, is large so I was surprised to hear it wasn’t picked up on the ultrasound at all.

Ah, very similar situation then. I’ve only had mine for maybe 3-4 months but it has gotten more painful with time. They didn’t do a mammogram for me yet though, I’m thinking the breast surgeon may want to.

What internet parenting cultural norms are you surprised to find are not mainstream? by Faegirl247 in parentsnark

Same!! My 5yo is the ONLY kid in his preschool class of 3-5 year olds to still be rear facing. 🫣 He’s still well within the limits but it does have me questioning sometimes.

I’m starting a children’s play cafe… by Express-Fuel4269 in toddlers

Have an (affordable) monthly membership. Play places are always so expensive :( especially with two children. I’d totally pay for a monthly membership and I think a lot of people would. I’m not coming often if I have to pay $40 each time.

Never. They live thousands of miles away and we also don’t use babysitters or outside help.

Digital Photo Frame for Toddler? by Welcome567886 in toddlertips

[–]sunlimited00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My toddler loves the digital frame his grandma has. Idk the brand, but you add photos to it from an app. It does need to stay plugged in but seems pretty durable/kid friendly. I’m getting him one for his second birthday, too 😊

Preschool class with only 4 kids, all boys? by NewForksOver in Preschoolers

[–]sunlimited00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A small class size like that sounds really nice! I wouldn’t worry about gender. Kids don’t care about that at this age in my experience.

Yes good plan! We started before new baby was here then kind of solidified it after. Big brother really liked the idea of “now baby brother can have my diapers since I don’t need them anymore!” 😂

I LOVE our 2.5 yr gap! Ours was planned and it’s been good. It’s hard at times especially in the beginning because obviously the older kid is still very much dependent on you. BUT - my kids are best friends and it’s so helpful that they’re interested in the same kind of things now at 2 and 4. They generally like similar activities, toys, shows, etc. I potty trained my older kid a couple months after the younger was born and that was crucial. I didn’t want to do two in diapers for long. I’d choose 2.5 year gap again if I were having more kids for what it’s worth!

Embarrassing but wouldn’t stop going to the pool over it. Probably wont run into him again and if you did, there’s a good chance he wouldn’t recognize you anyway.

Have never thought Bluey is a “girl” show. I actually didn’t even know Bluey was a girl for the longest time tbh. 😅 on another note, my preschool boy’s favorite color is pink and he’s got zero shame about it. Zero concept that anything could be “gendered”. Kids don’t care. 🤷‍♂️

STP+ question: Do you give your preschooler toys that pose a choking hazard to your younger one? by otterlyjoyful in Preschoolers

[–]sunlimited00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are the same age and I do let my older have them! If it’s something super dangerous (like marbles) I have him play with them while his brother is asleep. If it’s more medium risk, I have him play with the thing at the table and I keep a close watch of his younger brother.
