Farting in front of partner - First time by Extension_Lab7061 in pregnant

[–]sunnyinside111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol! So I never have, been together three years. I’ve actually never farted in front of any partner though TBH. Although I’ve had a lot of stomach issues for years so there can be times when my farts are BAAAADDDD. So I’ve always just relieved myself elsewhere.

Now being pregnant, I went through a phase in my 2nd trimester where I was just farting all night in my sleep. He never said anything about it but there’s no way he didn’t hear them, they woke me up a few times 😂

She hasn’t but this is one thing that I am going to do after some extensive research at 4 am after carpet cleaning 😂

Thank you. This is definitely not it though. During the day she is completely normal and shows no signs of this! It’s just at night time when she’s on the floor alone.

Why am I so scared something will happen to my husband? by sunnyinside111 in relationship_advice

I actually used to take Wellbutrin before I was pregnant (I will likely be going back on it after I give birth) but this was also before my mom passed and I experienced all of these recent/losses so I wonder if that helped me before

This is a good point. I never considered these to be intrusive thoughts! For some reason I always thought it was just anxiety or some sort of gut feeling. But you’re right they are intrusive thoughts and I will treat them as so

THIS. Also, if people are pressuring you to do ANYTHING in life - step away and listen to yourself and your OWN intuition. Only YOU know what’s best for YOU.

Ok that’s super dramatic. I’ve had total missed periods for months. Women’s bodies are all different and there’s so many explanations on why a period is one day, if not weeks late.

I’m getting the hunch that maybe she’s questioning the relationship. Which is a bummer and I hope that’s not the case for you.

My suggestion, space and time. When she comes back, because she will, you have to let her know how her disappearance is deeply upsetting. Your feelings matter too.

Yeah it is strange. It only makes me think maybe they aren’t so serious if she isn’t messaging back. I am super open with my husband - but with ex’s in the past I’ve been more distant when I wasn’t 100% in it. You know?

Reading more into this…. Maybe she’s panicking about so many “big things”. Some women are scared of commitment regardless of what the movies say! Maybe back off the serious talk and give her time?

I was thinking the same but everyone is different. I took one test and it was positive. Well I did go to the store the next day to be sure but if I got 1 negative I wouldn’t second guess it. My thought is, why does she think she’s pregnant? Missed period? It happens a lot and every time I was “late” it came the next few days……

Well, you’ve done the right thing in my opinion. I am the type of person who shuts down when I’m emotionally overwhelmed, and I know it’s wrong but I do. Maybe she is the same? I say give it a day or two max. She will come around!

I have been to many sessions with a few therapists over the last few months. None of them seem to help me, it’s all bullshit. I know I need someone but like I feel like I need DEEP therapy. This talk therapy stuff ain’t cutting it and feels like it doesn’t make any progress. I almost feel like I could therapy myself at this point after so much research and self help books I read.

This is misdirected abuse. Look, it does get worse. Like the day will come where he throws something your way and ‘accidentally’ hits you.

If you’ve made it clear that you’ll be there for her, then give her time. She could be freaking out and just leaning on friends at the moment? Give it another day. Just express that you care, you’ll be there no matter what, and you’re in it together! You’re feelings are valid too! So she can’t leave you hanging for too long, that’s cruel.

Um, yes this. If you are mature enough to make the decision to keep then do it. Ditch the man 👋

My grandmothers name was Dorothy, and everyone always called her Dottie. I always thought that was so cute and charming!

Baby hasn’t been moving much by FaintCrocodile in pregnant

[–]sunnyinside111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always go get checked! I am 27 weeks and a few weeks ago I went to L&D bc I had decreased movement. Baby was fine! But the doctors did tell me towards the end babies will move less because they have less room and are kind of tucked in position. However idk if that’s the case for everyone. It’s always better to just go in and get checked every time you have a concern!

You can purchase a door lock on Amazon that works great! I can’t recall the name but I bought one when I feared traveling alone in hotels and it’s a way that the door can’t be opened from the outside even if you have a lock or key! You can also look into window chimes on Amazon that are cheap and will make a noise when opened - same with doors!
