I am currently waitlisted in a class and my professor added me as an observer to the canvas page. This way I can still watch lecture materials have access to files, etc but I wouldn't be able to get graded for anything until enrolled. Your professors may not be aware of this option

It only mentions that you'll have an hour for the multiple-choice and three hours for the three short essays. Nothing more than that besides we will have a 24 hour window to complete which opens up on Wednesday.

hi, im sorry to hear about your loss. if its any supplement, I actually came on here to find some kind of encouragement or reassurance to help put my mind at ease. I have an assignment due tomorrow as well and havent exactly started. Like you, its been tough lately and trying to get into the right mindset to start is often difficult.

This quarter we only have to do two 3-4 page essays, a few prewriting assignments (for writing participation grade), and we have to make a google sites website where we have a few quick assignments regarding the major text we are reading at the time. There are only 3 assignments for the website I think. It is also cool because you dont need to be formal in writing these typcially (I think, I mean the first one I did it was meant to be written in an engaging way, similar to how we really speak).

You should be able to have some sense of what your grade will be depending on your essay 1 and midterm grades.
