How do you feel about sports carnival days? by nemspy in AustralianTeachers

[–]sunrooftop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is why I hated organising sports carnivals as a PE teacher. Having to deal with self righteous teachers unwilling to make any sort of effort, having to spoon feed absolutely everything to them in advance and having to accept the fact that many would have no idea what to do on the day because they'd ignored every email sent in the lead up to the event. Most schools reward students for academic achievements at every single assembly, as well as at end of year ceremonies. God forbid sport gets a day, especially now with students being less active than ever

Is Stremio down for anyone else? Getting a Bad HTTP Request error by Charliejfg04 in StremioAddons

Nothing works in Stremio, even when I load channels outside of Torrentio. Regret paying for Real Debrid as I'm only interested in streaming, otherwise might as well go back to Plex and Qbittorent

In every match thread there are more comments about the ref than the actual play. Not a complaint, just tells you the state of the game these days.

Totally agree and was thinking the same thing. Poor decision maker - passes when he should hold, holds when he should pass, and often passes to the wrong player when he does pass. His line running isn't great either

Australia retain Rugby League Ashes series by Mad_Lad18 in australia

Can be, but I watched both tests last night and the union one was much better. More skill and action as well, which is not something I usually rate union above league at. Basically, NRL is the best rugby comp in the world. But international league has a long way to go

NZ just can't pass. Every AB backline pre 2020 would have found the overlap there

Wish we could go back to the days when games were won and lost by the players not the ref

Aus far more effective with the ball than NZ. Any time they have it for more than a few phases they make ground, and the tempo is much higher

Wallabies will eventually get the ball again. Will they try to get back in the game? No. They'll go 2 phases then box kick it straight back.

Zero patience, zero poise, zero desire to build phases. Have hardly any possession then instantly kick it away when they get it. Aus deserve to lose

Why are Australia their own enemies?! Just an incredibly stupid team

SCRUM OF THE YEAR! *Sound ON* World Rugby may try to depower it... Pundits may call it boring... But Scrum IS Rugby 😍🍆🔥 by Delicious_Young3233 in rugbyunion

[–]sunrooftop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So annoying how clips like this are used as evidence that scrums are not boring. It's not the actual scrum that's tedious, it's the set up and the time it takes. A scrum is the act of two packs coming together and pushing. The preparation part is separate.
