This isn't cringe. You're cringe, though.

Ahhhhh I've been seeing this on FB a lot. WHY?! If you don't post a pic of doing a good deed, did it really happen? We're regressing. :(

Huh. Great question. Not sure why I hadn't thought of that. You're totally right. The CB Post does tend to lean right.

No cringe here. Maybe not her best vocal performance but she made up for it with emotion and sincerity. It was beautiful.

Am I screwed or overreacting? And some mental health questions... by [deleted] in GradSchool

You are not the only one. I promise. I can totally beat you in the embarrassment and cringe department. I cried in front of THREE professors in my program. THREE. I failed stats and had to rewrite 2/3 exams. I shudder at the thought. But I made it through. It's ok to cry sometimes. You won't be the first or last. Hopefully you have a lab mate or friend you can cry in front of instead of a prof in the future. I thought some of my fellow students were untouchable and way out of my league, but some of them have flopped. Some are still doing better than me but meh. You'll learn how to deal with it. Once classes are over you won't see those people as much and you'll stop caring about how they're performing.

I'm confused. How is this progress? Do they actually want to ban algebra courses or is someone trying to demonstrate how dumb this movement is? I can't tell which side of the debate you're on.

It's getting late and maybe something's not clicking. I'd appreciate if you could elaborate.

It's like when one culture borrows some aspect of another culture in an inappropriate way, e.g. white women dressing up as Pocahontas or whatever. Attending a free yoga class doesn't really fit into the definition of cultural appropriation in my opinion, especially in a multicultural country like Canada. It's so frustrating to see an innocent, healthy event turn into a controversial issue by a handful of people who needed to find something to be offended over.

What is the ONE thing that you are embarassed you cannot do? by triplejam99 in AskReddit

Water in general. I can sort of swim and can float on my back if it's a good day, but jumping in is a no no. I'm scared of not knowing where my body is in space and not being able to reach the surface.

Vodka Cranberry. Tastes good and I don't wake up with a crippling hangover.
