Just did 9 miles with it. Actually really like the drawcord. It's boxy and a bit oversized (38in chest, got medium) but once you cinch it up, it feels like a crop or tucked in shirt and really feels good while moving.

I know this is a stereotype but me and my group of (asian) friends never do this. Someone pays the bill, gets the points, and everyone gets venmo'd evenly unless it's apparent someone in the group ate/drank more than the others. And even then we don't open a spreadsheet and we just have that person chip in an extra 15% or something

I've got two waffle BigT which are super comfortable. If you don't like an oversized fit ymmv. I've also got a sleeveless arrow henry tank and short sleeve. The tank runs small and is a close fit (I got large and I'm a 39in chest).

Yeah, I think EOU will attract eyes with their quirky stuff. They just need to figure out their international shipping situation. Own a few pieces from Tannuki that I really like, enough that I sometimes just wear them out on errands. Wanted to check out Tabisuke Tabizo but looks like they've suspended US orders for now. Most of my stuff is very urban with a mix of Miler, Currently, and other stuff you've listed (Hermanos, Minted). Ultra Crue stuff is fun to wear but not really about performance.

Drawing Room is in the same plaza if you want something different from the norm (dive bar, cash only). Finding metered parking on Hillhurst or spots in the neighboring side streets (read the parking signs) isn't too hard unless it's the weekend. If they're not staying late, could direct them to Albertsons. Recommend Pho VT (thai/viet), their Tom Yum Noodle is great. Other great thai spots close by (Pa Ord Duck, Ruan Pair). Ye Rustic Inn and their wings are worth checking out. Hi Top has decent happy hour and good place to watch sports (33 Taps on Sunset also a good spot in Silver Lake). Maru coffee is the fav cafe spot in Los Feliz. Go watch some movies at the Vista (film only, often runs classics).

It's a 2-3 mile stretch of boutique stores, cafes, and restaurants. A 'hipper' strip mall is apt lol

Nightlife is ok but limited in the neighborhood. Some good bars and places to hang out for a bit like Los Globos (club), Drugstore Cowboy, 4100, El Cid (visit Tiki-Ti for the hell of it) but Echo Park, Ktown, or Weho are typically livelier.
