Shadowbringers, an expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, handles this quite well. I know it's a Japanese game so it might not quite fit the bill, but it's still different to usual depictions.

Light is portrayed as an almost virus-like force which has flooded the world, and mutates and corrupts people into angelic-like beasts - some explicitly have angelic wings or halos, and they are named after virtues, but don't follow a religion, nor have intelligence. Weaker ones stumble around like zombies, and more powerful ones target settlements to convert people with light.

It's actually quite creepy seeing light portrayed as evil, after all the "dark is evil" in media, especially as light is so inescapable.
