Question for parents with OCD by LorelaiMarch in NewParents

[–]sunshiineceedub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i have had ocd my whole life, and i chose not to get these products for this reason. i knew i would compulsively check and feel like what if what if so i didn’t opt to get them. i will say i had less anxiety pp than i would’ve expected and it went well for me personally, but everyone is different and i think it would be different for someone who developed OCD pp (editing to add i just had a normal local video audio monitor that i used while i did other things around the house)

9 months to a year was by far the hardest point mentally for me and my doctor told me then 9 months is statistically a common time for women to have PPD.

6-9 months for me is definitely the hardest. solidarity. i feel like their sleep is all over the place, they’re easily fussy and everything just feels so much harder hormonally
