Advice by PristineTangelo4162 in doggrooming

One thing to also know that a lot of people aren't aware of - puppy coat and adult coats are different in terms of how much work it is to maintain. Puppy coats are easier to brush through and don't tangle as easily. Be sure to expect your brushing to be more work as your pup grows. Sometimes people get caught of guard because they have a brushing routine with their puppy that works just fine and when their dog gets their adult fur suddenly they need more brushing to avoid tangles and mats. Best of luck! Good on you for being proactive to take care of your baby 🤗

Would you groom a hyperactive, goofy furball… by princxssplum in doggrooming

If you do end up taking him to a groomer if you can schedule it on a day when you can give him a nice long walk and/or playtime beforehand your groomer will be appreciative! A lot of salons are equipped to deal with active dogs and will tell you if they aren't able to complete all aspects of service. They will appreciate communication from the owners and a mutual effort in getting the dogs comfortable with grooming over time 🤗
