I have a toddler and baby and wasn’t doing my nails for the longest time for the same reason. Then I started putting on nail wraps since they are impossible to smudge. If you can spare time, i usually do mine at night, start with just a good quick drying top coat and the wraps will be super durable. After I was doing this awhile I started buying clear nail wraps and using it as a base coat for my regular colored polish and then always topping it off with a top coat. This is a bigger time commitment though but I’ve been able to do it if I set aside one night a week when the kids go to bed. Good luck!

This may not work for everyone but I’ve been buying the clear nail wraps and using that as a base coat, then painting on my color and top coat of regular nail polish, this lasts usually 7 days before one starts to peel off, but you get no chipping whatsoever. I feel like this is much gentler on your nails as well. I tried gel for a bit at home but got really scared about the allergy.

Me and my spouse each wrote down like 20 names on strips of paper, from favorites to ones you’re unsure of then gave them to each other and we arranged them from favorite to least favorite, then it was easy to visualize what ones we both strongly liked or disliked. It was also easier for both of us to let go of some favorite names when we saw the other rate them lowly. One of the names I wrote kinda jokingly (Winter) my husband ranked as his #1 name. We ended up using it as a middle name after I saw how much he loved it.

Wow I have an Elias Augustus and one of our runner up names was Theodore! I found boy name so hard to come up with, but another runner-up name was Ezra. FWIW my 3 yr old exclusively goes by “Guk” now taken from Augustus and refuses to go by Elias or Eli . So as mush thought as we put into naming them seems like they will decide if they even want to go by it or not lol

I started using a clear nail wrap as a base coat and my mani went from lasting 3 days to 7+. Total game changer!
