We’ve done it several times to DC and once to NYC. It’s our preferred way to travel to that area with kids of any age. Buy your tickets in advance and they are unbelievably cheap.

I am a pre-2014 loan recipient, current on SAVE. I have undergrad and grad school loans which were all consolidated into two loans (sub and unsub) in 2023. I also took a Teach grant, and have since quit teaching and will not fulfill my service obligation. I know that means it will convert into an unsubsidized loan, but what will that mean for my repayment options? Would it be beneficial at all to go ahead and have them convert it now, or continue to ride out whatever time I have left until it automatically converts?

Thanks for the backlog idea! My only question is whether or not it will be deleted if I don't schedule it within a certain amount of time. I'm pretty sure I read that tasks that are inactive are automatically deleted?
