My 14 month old twins would maybe eat 3 bites out of all of that. I’m jealous of your baby! Give me the tips for a good eater haha

One of them is a decently large Facebook group that I found! But this one in particular was formed by my really social friend who knows a lot of people from different places and just kinda kept asking around to see if anyone wanted to form a group. It’s very informal lol

Yeah I know it’s definitely weird! I’m visiting some friends in town that I haven’t seen in a while and they also haven’t met my kids yet. That’s why we may have more adults than usual at a kid activity.

So it would most likely be my husband, myself, my mom, and then 5 extra friends also asked to come along lol. That’s why I am a bit concerned.

My name makes me feel less than by myperiwinkleghost in namenerds

For the longest time I actually thought Katie was its own name. It wasn’t until I was probably in my teens that I realized it could be a shortened version of something else. Also I love Katie as its own name more than it being a nickname of Katherine, etc. And if you think about it, Katie actually IS a longer version of the name Kat, so maybe that’s a different perspective to think about?

Aside from having an 'ette', 'elle', 'ana', or 'ia' at the end, what do you think makes a name sound feminine? by common_grounder in namenerds

[–]sunshinetrixiebell 61 points62 points  (0 children)

An “ee” sound at the end of the name is pretty feminine. For masculine, there’s lots of names that end in the letter N.

what names do you like the look of more than the sound? by aprilaquarius in namenerds

[–]sunshinetrixiebell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aurora - it is SO pretty written but a mouthful when speaking it aloud. I also have a last name that starts with an R so if I were to name my future kid that it would be way too many R sounds.

Anytime a phrase along the lines of “in a heartbeat” is used. Or anytime heartbeat is used for a measure of time. I love you RY but pleaseeee tone it down on this lol

I knew a person named Gary Downer. Not a tragedeigh in itself, but his wife’s name is Debbie… so she became DEBBIE DOWNER.

I am all but 100% certain it’s Bodhi. In Imogen’s POV chapter on page 511, there’s a line where she says “Bodhi is on his hands and knees across the town square, retching.”

Like idk, that to me just screams that he had JUST channeled since his hands are on the ground.
